Tonight was our 35th birthday party, we branched out on our own setting up our own branch back in 1973. Originally we were in the Dundee Branch so this move makes us just 35 years young now.
It was a cold frosty night and I think there were about 50/60 people there, there was a good atmosphere with everybody talking to each other telling jokes etc. Dave Fowler said a little bit to everyone about the raffle and thanked everyone for helping with this, he also thanked everyone for coming and said he hoped to see everyone at the Christmas party and if they have not booked their seats.
The monthly raffle made a total of £177.00 which brings the total this year for the monthly raffles to £1709.07p (if you care to add the annual raffle of £819.50p which the coffee morning made to the annual raffle then this total will be £2528.57p up to date).
The staff were very helpful and friendly and provided us all with a good choice for the meal & sweet course, they took their time and put in a good effort to try and please everyone which is somewhat rare nowadays.
The names of the staff who served us all there were Remy Beattie, Winnie Scott, Gemma Stewart and finally Russell Henderson.
