Our last visit to the Letham Hotel was on Saturday 18th April this year for afternoon tea. Ruby and I were unable to attend today, so thanks has to go to Arthur Boath for his reporting which is used on this webpage and for his photographs as well.
This month's Saturday's event was lunch at The Letham Hotel. There was a good turnout 55 people came along. There was a very good varied menu and something to suit everyone.
As always the service was to a high standard. The waitresses worked hard but still managed time for a banter with the members. Many thanks go to all the staff from the Letham Hotel. There were a few new welcome faces who joined us for the afternoon.
As this is the still the holidays period there were some members who were unable to attend. However we hope to see them at the next outing which is afternoon tea at the Hillside Hotel, Montrose on Saturday 19th September at 2.30pm.
The raffle was also very successful and made £245.00. Many thanks to all who donated the prizes. This is our sixth raffle this year which brings the total for raffles up to £1,623.00.
