How did it go?

There was a total of 58 or 59 turned up. An amazing food spread was served including large hot sausage rolls/sandwiches/biscuits tea & coffee.

There was more than enough fresh food for all . The staff were superb & the guests were invited to take some food with them if they wished rather than it go to waste.

This was done by Brian Robson. The whole night was a total success & the hall & facilities were superb.

All in all a brilliant night had by all. Brian Robson thanked the staff for the great service by them all.

The quiz was conducted by Ian Mackay & co and it went well.

Ella Merriman (red cross) was invited by Ian to present the prizes.

The Raffle.

The raffle on the night was quite big & varied.

This is our fourth raffle this year and the raffle done well as usual and it made £215 plus a donation of £30.00p Total in all was £245.00p

That brings the total for the raffles this year to £911.00p.

Jean and Anne have ran the raffle for years now, and it is well established now so thanks go to Jean and Anne, also everyone who brings in donations which are then used for prizes for the raffle.

The raffle is a joint effort by everyone who bring in donations, or even members who just simply buy the raffle tickets to take part.

The raffle has been ran properly for years now, but it is a team effort of members, suppliers, and committee workers.

The raffle helps pay towards some of the cost of the event so it is good that most people help contribute in this.
